EARTHRISE YOGA WORKSHOP & RECORD RELEASE PARTY
Moving From Center
Join Pure Yoga’s Derek Beres and Pilates instructor Sasha Dmochowski for a two-hour workshop focused on the relationship between the “core” and asanas. In this Vinyasa-style workshop, Beres will explore the necessity of a strong midsection and how to use bandhas as a foundation for a number of postures, while Dmochowski integrates various methods from Pilates into the flow. They will be joined by percussionist Duke Mushroom, Beres’s musical partner in EarthRise SoundSystem. Each student will receive a copy of the project’s recently released album, The Yoga Sessions (White Swan/Yoga Organix).
